HIgh Dynamic Range

I made a new discovery in the area of Real Estate photography. Dave and I took it upon ourselves to learn how to do one weekend and are excited by our results. HDR(High Dynamic Range ) is a process of taking different exposures through bracketing and combining them to make one photograph. Here are the results of our first house...which happens to be in escrow:)

My Lil Monsters

Yesterday I went an purchased a 7D. It was interesting because with devastation in Japan cameras are going to be harder to come by, but I got it. Here are some images I shot for my sister's "My Lil Monster" t-shirt company. She started this business out of her home and designs these t-shirts to suit your lil monster. Here are two of her "My lil monster" shirts...Princess Jules and Flora Flower...modeled by Georgette and Kylie.

"Princess Jules" just loves to play dress-up.
Her dream is to use Mommy's make-up!

"Flora Flower" is a faithful friend.
She will stand by you until the end!

Ally Jane- 5 weeks Old

It has been a long while since I posted on this blog. I put my camera away for a while because it is not meeting my expectations and I was just getting depressed that I was not meeting my own expectations. Well, a good friend of mine asked me to take some newborn pictures yesterday, so I got it out again and it felt good. I wish I was better than I am, but I am content for now. I can still capture moments, even though I have expectations of being ten times better than I actually am. I feel good about this image. I captured Ally smiling which her mom had said she just started doing. Her mom was tickled with this picture, which makes my day! She is 5 weeks old and a doll. I am anticipating the arrival of our little girl in April and this makes me anxious to meet her.
